Bill McMillan was admitted as a Solicitor in the 1960's and practiced as a Barrister from 1981 until 2000.

As a solicitor, Bill has extensive experience in the areas of commercial, personal injuries, wills and estates law.

In the 1980's, Bill was the lead Counsel for the Australian and New Zealand Veterans (over 44,000) in the Agent Orange class action in the United States. This case involved Bill actually practicing in the US Federal Courts over a period of some four years.

As a Barrister, Bill practiced across many areas and appeared in the Privy Council in London on several occasions. He has enjoyed extensive experience as an appellate Counsel in the Court of Appeal Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Bill was also involved in several high profile criminal trials, some lasting over four months.

In 2001, Bill was readmitted as a Solicitor and has continued to practice in Brisbane City and subsequently at Milton. His range of interests continues in commercial, estate planning, advice to small and medium size business and franchising. Bill also advises in the establishment of Community Banks throughout Australia.

With the entry of the firm of Isles Lethbridge into the new firm of McMillan Legal, Bill, as Principal, is well poised to see every client's legal needs are catered for.
